First Login
When you first access Ward, you'll need to sign in with your facility credentials.
Signing In
- Open Ward (mobile app or web)
- Enter your email address
- Enter your password
- Tap Sign In
If your facility uses single sign-on (SSO), you may see a "Sign in with SSO" option instead. Tap it and follow your organization's authentication flow.
First-Time Setup
Claiming Your Invite
If your administrator sent you an invite:
- Open Ward and sign in with the email address your invite was sent to
- Enter the invite code from your email
- Your account is activated with the role and unit your administrator assigned
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Ward supports optional MFA via authenticator apps (TOTP). You can enable MFA from your profile settings after signing in. When enabled, you'll need to enter a code from your authenticator app each time you sign in.
Password Requirements
Passwords must be at least 12 characters.
Roles and Access
Your access level depends on your assigned role:

| IT Admin | Above + system configuration |
| Facilities Maintenance | Work order management only |
Your role determines which screens and features you can access.
Troubleshooting
"Invalid login credentials"
- Verify you're using the correct email address
- Check for typos in your password
- Use Forgot Password to reset if needed
"No organization found for this email domain"
- Your facility may not have SSO configured yet
- Try signing in with email and password instead
- Contact your facility administrator
Can't sign in with SSO
- Ensure you're connected to your facility network if required
- Contact your IT department for SSO configuration issues
